Producer, music aficionado and tech entrepreneur Jun Inoue is CEO and the driving force behind Amadeus Code. We asked him a few key questions about creativity, artificial intelligence, and the elegance and challenge of turning machine learning into expressive sound. We’ll be posting his responses over the next few weeks, to introduce the world to what makes Amadeus Code stand out as an AI-driven musical idea generator.

Today’s Question:

Beyond the app, how can you imagine Amadeus Code expanding? Are there other ways or areas it could be used?

The two platforms we are planning next for Amadeus Code are VST/AU for DAW and the browser. We will provide access to personal libraries common to all accounts, and allow users to access multi-platform environments where they can co-author songs with AI from anywhere and at any time.

We hope to provide opportunities for users who transcend genres to interact by exploiting the characteristic that enables music creators who want to compose good melodies rather than those interested in music styles to gather. If we could introduce Amadeus Code to kids as their first musical instrument, that would be a dream.

Are there other ways or areas it could be used?

With regard to areas outside of music, Amadeus Code AI is an algorithm that excels at combining abstract images, so it can also be used for something like fashion coordination, for example.

Amadeus Code AI thinks outside the box in a dimension that transcends the expressions that people are aware of, and in the end, it doesn’t matter if the final output is sound, color or design. I hope to actively provide the technology that can be used in fields that differ but are essentially based on the same thought process.
